EPIC Butt is a glue through-butt design, geared with octagonal hoods, matching nuts and nylon washers. A machined flat on the reel seat ensures anti-reel rotation while fighting the fish. EPIC Butt comes with a either short or long mushroom gimbal to be installed by the rod builder. Created to accept reels from 30# – 50# Class.

 You know he machined it out of solid aircraft-grade aluminum. These "Epic" butts will allow the blank to go all the way through, but needs to run at least 2" below the reel seat. Can be used as a rod extender. Reel seat hoods will accept a 30 class reel.
