Well known for his big game rod guides, tips, and Adjusta-butt, Fred has developed a Gaff hook that has combined many positive attributes from a number of styles. The hook starts with a 3/16 SS rod, then it is cold flattened with a 200 ton press resulting in two equal opposite lateral edges for extra strength and stiffness. The hook tip is a machined round tapered needle point. The unique design ensures that the fish will stay on the hook. Available in 2", 3", and 4" sizes.
